Now it’s not only way off base - but predicting substantial rain 🤣 There is exactly zero chance of rain in the foreseeable future for this region.
Top is my outdoor monitor (internal data). Bottom is same time public data. (Middle is my indoor sensor if your curious)
Baseball needs relegation and the A’s should’ve been relegated years ago.
Honestly the fact check should have just been the title and the entire article
Among the more interesting developments is that MLB has decided the World Series brand is too weak and that small market trail races have a better brand property they should try to latch onto.
If you ever contributed to @warp-drive.io (via github - sorry folks from the pre-git and pre-GitHub years - that's mostly you Charles Jolly) you're now listed on the front page ♥️
Why yes, configuring @warp-drive.io did just get a lot easier. Glad you noticed!
My DoorDash delivery person left the phone call running when I popped out the door to collect the food. This may be the worst/most awkward AI transcription ever, and it missed the best part 😆 (the next actual sentence spoken was let me take a photo of this)
ooooof. I see what you are saying now. I don't think a single person has ever realized this is true, and it makes me pretty incredibly sad. This should not be the case.
So I should PR removing all of this from the MDN docs since the spec has changed?
So TIL about stripInternal, which is great except that it also turns out typescript adds a random #private member to classes that have JS private fields.... and this is used in type comparisons 😱
Oh huh, 2 years later, we’ve only gotten further away, and yet you want to believe so hard you’ve convinced yourself it’s just one more iteration away.
File this under horrendous takes. I did not watch it go from “zero to better intellisense to junior dev in a couple of years”. I watched it go from zero to better intellisense to worse than a junior dev to worse than intellisense to completely useless.
The configuration story for @warp-drive.io is about to get a lot simpler. When we were iterating on EmberData we broke it apart into packages with well defined boundaries. Then we added new packages that replaced some of the old packages with better implementations. Ended up with a lot of packages.
I've always known redwood regional was a magical place, but did you know it has a mystery portal that takes you to Salem Oregon?
Discovered via the @allthingsweb.dev discord and @andrelandgraf.com that there’s a term for this now: “AX” or “Agent Experience” to complement DX and UX.
Hey @discord.com, you can remove this ridiculous and intrusive ad experience or expect that I stop paying you $100/yr for Nitro
Decided to try rolldown-vite vite.dev/guide/rolldo... turns out it has a dependency on real vite so can't 🙈
Too much snark? Or just the right amount of snark? Docs landing page for @warp-drive.io (overall the manual is still very much under construction 🚧) docs.warp-drive.io
Not what they teach us in US history. First I’ve heard of the Dutch customs origin myth but it sounds more plausible than the below swill:
So far loving what vitepress offers out of the box for building great docs. I do kinda wish the router was better: the file based routing needs at least the ability to remap names - but generally its been a smooth buildout for @warp-drive.io
