Watching DS9 for what must be the 20th time, I don't know if it's because I'm older or I've become a curmudgeon myself, but I find myself enjoying Odo more than usual. I always liked him, but these days I understand his constant annoyance with the situations around him. 😆
I've just finished a re-watch of Cobra Kai. It's one of my favourite redemption stories. Even if you're not familiar with The Karate Kid films, the series fills in the gaps. It has great characters, action, and humour, but it's the heart of the story that makes it stand out. 😊
I've had a bit of a rough week with illness, but I managed to find some time for my favourite form of escapism. I've been replaying Zelda: Ocarina of Time via the Switch 2. I didn't quite get every item this time around, but it was great fun revisiting a classic.
My dad likes to remind me that he had to go into town especially on a weekday night to pick-up a copy of Zelda: Ocarina of Time before Christmas '98. Demand was so high that the shop would only hold it for 24 hours. That copy is now framed and hanging on my living room wall. 😁
