We had a blue jay that used to sit outside the window our cat liked to sit at and for a while, every time the cat sat at the window, the blue jay would scream at the poor cat and send him running in place and then down into the basement. Yes it was this little grey wee lamb.

I’m surprised at how emotional this picture makes me. Somewhere there’s still that 8 year in this old lady body that believes humans not only want to do good for each other, but can figure out ways to do good and actually have found ways. I thought that kid was gone.
