Did you hear about RFK Jr's new cooking show. It's called "Roadkill Recipes"
A rare rainbow in Hong Kong this morning. There was a faint one in the same spot and same time of day a couple of days ago. It seems someone is trying to send a message and was concerned it didn’t get through the other day. I am listening and hopeful that it is a good omen.
A beautiful sunset in Hong Kong last night. #sunset #photography #hongkong #travel

Happy Independence Day from Hong Kong. We do the best we can to feel American today. Got my Stars and Stripes shirt on eating a burger and fries with a chocolate shake. I don’t eat like this often so it feels special on a special occasion. Cheers!
On July 4, 1976, I was a teenager and played the drum in a fife and drum corp for the Bicentennial Independence Day celebration. It was in a small, rural town in Western Massachusetts. The whole town came out. A different time in America. The image is AI generated just to remember that day.
Scorpion in the pool. Staying at the River Kai Village during the off season in Thailand and found this guy in the swimming pool.
Lizards in Bangkok. That big monitor lizard was only about 6 feet away when we spotted him. The little one came right up to us when we were sitting by the pool. I enjoyed a wonderful day to celebrate my birthday with family. #travel #photography #Thailand #lizard
Turtle: before being cooked and after. This was my first time eating turtle, which is a delicacy in China. The meat was tasty but there were a lot of bones and shell to contend with. #travel #photography #China
More pictures from China. This is an area called the three gorges on the Yangtze River. The scenery is truly spectacular. #travel #photography #china #mountains
One more picture of Appa. He is a Ragdoll and it shows. He loves to sprawl out.
Appa with her sister Ellie. I’m going to miss them when we leave in 2 days.
I believe this is Mount St Helen. Picture taken from the airplane as we flew from San Francisco to Seattle on Tuesday. #photography #travel #mountain
I’m back in Seattle and Appa is glad to see me. Apparently I am in need of cleaning. #cat
This Peregrine Falcon put on a show for us at Devil’s Slide. He used the wind to hover just a few yards from us for about a minute before he turned and flew off.
Devil’s Slide in San Francisco. We had another beautiful sunny day although it was very windy along the cliffs. The geology is fascinating as much of the rock is striated almost vertically and there’s much variation in the stone. Ever color from white to black.
#ForestFriday Visited the redwood forest today for the first time. Seeing all those majestic trees that are hundreds of years old really puts things in perspective. We must protect this incredible planet. #travel #photography #trees #redwoods
Continuing my nature theme, we saw California ground squirrels and deer on the “17-mile drive” around Pebble Beach
We watched this seagull balance on top of the other seagull for several minutes. The bottom bird seemed annoyed but tolerant. They did not mate, from what we could tell. I think they were rehearsing for America’s Got Talent #photography #travel #birds #seagull
I took this picture last year in Egypt. The sky was full of colorful hot air balloons in the early morning light.
The flame trees are in bloom now in Hong Kong. So vibrant. #bloomscrolling #flowers #photography
Is your school's EdTech actually working — or just claiming to? Natalia Kucirkova joins the podcast to talk evidence, impact, and what we should be demanding. youtu.be/ghnOevy36lQ #EdTech #EvidenceBasedEducation #AIinEducation #EducationInnovation #Education #Teaching #Learning
I took this picture last night after turning the lights off in my apartment. The glow of the salt lamp created a cool silhouette of the plant. I’m not a photographer but I liked the effect. Picture taken with my iPhone. Unedited. #photography #lighting #flowers
An interesting sky in Hong Kong in the late afternoon. My apartment is on the 63rd floor so I have a beautiful view. #photography #clouds #sunset #hongkong
I'm so surprised the three stooges (Vance, Witkoff, Kushner) couldn't come to an agreement with Iran. I wonder if Vance started the meeting demanding that Iran thank the US for not destroying their civilization. If you're too young to recognize the 3 stooges you should look them up. Very funny!
More flowers from my recent trip to Amsterdam #flowers #photography #travel
