The native Ocean Spray bushes in my backyard had an unusually abundant bloom this year. Now, right on schedule, the Kinglets have arrived in dozens to feast on the seeds. I believe these are Golden Crown Kinglets. I see flashes of yellow as they dart around.
I just stumbled on this, Tempest stations on Fidalgo and Guemes Ilands. I didn't realize how popular they were.
