Kipp Popert is going for a 4th US Adaptive Open in a row, and he's -7 thru 10 holes today. Dude is only 59 Watch!
Sam Burns got emotional when he talked about what his dad said to him after he finished the US Open. Lifting up your kids is so powerful, even in the small stuff, but especially with the big stuff.
Gaby Lopez, at every LPGA event, goes to the host club staff, meets with them and gets to know their names. She's grateful for what they do for her, and she knows they deserve that dignity. Now she's tied for the clubhouse lead at the US Women's Open with two groups left.
Celene Boutier did a great thing, & the karma came back. She granted a wish to 11-year old Evelyn King-White, who is currently battling Leukemia. Celene is Evelyn’s favorite player, & they met prior to final round. Boutier went on to win the ShopRite LPGA. Evelyn was there for the trophy ceremony!
Bryson DeChambeau has apparently moved to Claude Harmon III as his instructor. What's that? I'm being told the new instructor is just Claude.
The Park, a public golf course in West Palm Beach, Florida, has a new mascot: Parker the Parrot. There was an online vote to pick him. I'm not gonna lie, I love the idea of golf course mascots, especially for public facilities.
Saw a huge turtle, a 5-foot watersnake and a pile of other snakes yesterday playing golf. Absolutely wild. Also an enormous bird (next bleet).
I made a hoodie inspired by the Church Pews at Oakmont, using puff vinyl to give the pews a 3D effect. Whatcha think?
The clubhouse at Mount Pleasant Park Golf Course goes back to the early 1700s, with the basement used as the foundation for what was built in the 1930s. There's so much Baltimore golf history here, including Arnold Palmer memorabilia from his 1956 PGA Tour win here!
I love that Aaron Rai uses iron covers. He uses them because they remind him to appreciate what he has. Now that attitude has taken him to the pinnacle. How can you not love that?
Good day today at the PGA. Solid support out there and Philly people being Philly people.
