Turns out the Martyrs of Palestine and Pamphilus of Caesarea are chick-magnets. I just found out that Liz Penland, Erica Carotenuto and myself have a predecessor. The Pamphilos entry in Pauly-Wissowa by "E. Hoffmann" is not by an Ernst but an Eva.
I am excited to share that my article "From Martyr's Testament to Polemical Anthology: Re-Reading Pamphilus' and Eusebius' Apology for Origen" has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Early Christian Studies!
So our belived rabbit found a new home last night. I loved that girl and got so attached to her. She could even read! - Blague à part, it is a heartbreak 💔
