A border collie named Sadie 🌈and her mom. Music, books, libraries, hiking. “With gratitude, optimism becomes sustainable.”-Michael J Fox
Very off topic: I bought a used camper shell for my pickup truck. Need an interior lighting source. Just wondering what you use in your camper. Did yours already have adequate interior lighting?
4 years ago Gracie and I had a peaceful ride through Quail Hollow park. Sure miss her.
Monsoonal weather incoming! We don’t normally get such great sunsets here.
Riley has chosen this used envelope as his favorite place to be. He spends hours sleeping on it.
Riley the cat still comes in and sleeps on the floor in the corner of the bedroom where Sadie, my collie, had her bed.
Had some lovely walks this week, including one in the morning fog at the beach
Early morning walk in the old growth redwood grove of Henry Cowell park. The tallest tree in the park reaches up 282 feet.
Friday morning sunrise from our campsite at Joshua Tree National Park. We spent a week there on a much needed mental health break.
Sadie left for the 🌈 on December 3rd, 2025, two months short of her 17th birthday. We shared much love and many adventures. #BestPhotos2025
Christmas Day hike at Pinnacles National Park. Many little waterfalls from all the rain we’ve had. And 3 different rainbows on the way home.
Hiking at Henry Cowell Redwood State Park today. Words can’t properly describe the magnificence of the old growth redwoods.
Sadie 🐾🌈 2/2009-12/3/25 This is Sadie’s mom. I’m heartbroken to tell you that my most loyal, faithful and nearly constant companion of almost 17 years, passed away today. I will love and miss her every day. I am thankful for the privilege of having her in my life. Run free like the wind, Sadie. ❤️
That would be awesome! I’m even wearing my winter sweater. Thank you! ❤️🐾 (seems DM doesn’t work for photos 🫤).
After a summer of nearly daily morning coastal fog, we finally have a clear start to the day
