The cat fort is being invaded!!

A tense standoff by the dinner table. In an Amazon box is a gray and brown tabby cat. His eyes are slitted and his mouth is open in complaint. His ears are out to the side, airplane-style. Simply looking at him is a brown cocker spaniel with a purple collar. Her back is to us but we can see her fluffy head and long ears. Her snoot is just visible under her left ear.

So I have this bumper sticker on my car..

A black magnetic bumper sticker - I’m holding it, this is before it went to live on my car’s ass. It reads: The only “crypto” that I care about is cryptozoology”. All the words are white except “crypto” and cryptozoology which are mustard yellow.

Nap gang

Two cats are snuggling in the corner of my bed. They’re cuddled up, one laying curled on the other’s shoulders, on a white blanket with a floral pillow behind them. The top cat is Eddy, he’s a brown and gray tabby, with his tailed curled up around him and paws tucked under. Ripley is his pillow, a light gray tabby cat, and you can only see his face and neck and front paws neatly crossed.

Ripley, a light gray tabby cat, is chilling laying against my bent legs. He has one front leg up on my knee with his paw dangling off the front and his back leg is dangling off the couch. He has a look of light startlement on his face. The ears are a little cocked to the sides and his eyes are wide and alert.

I saw this IRL working in a frame shop a million years ago

A drawing of a gun with lines pointing to the barrel, the trigger, and the hammer. The barrel is marked “Fate”, the trigger “Choice” and the hammer “Reason”. The handle of the gun appears to have a grimacing mouth in it. The drawing is in black with a tan sort of base color and highlights in red.

Sleepy

A tubby light gray tabby cat with a white chin is having a nice snooze on the end of the couch. He has his left paw tucked under his head and his right paw is just curled over the edge of the couch. His tail is wrapped around him.

My brother and I did a puzzle

A fantastic puzzle about 19”x26” depicting a person with a tv for a head and on the tv screen is a tiger’s head. In the room are wild paintings and giant green plants. The floor is blue and white checkered. He’s sitting on a stool with a fuzzy pink top in front of an orange dresser with blue gemstone knobs. He’s wearing an almost paisley blue and purple shirt and brown pants with green squiggles on them from top to bottom.

Henry, a gray and brown tabby cat, is dozing off on the foot of my bed. He’s laying on a white blanket. His front paws are stretched way out in front of him, and his green eyes are heavy.

Rosie, a pretty brown cocker spaniel, is sitting on my lap and making a very vigilant face. Her head is turned and her snoot points off to the right, and one gold eye is visible. Her brown coat is fluffy and curly on her long ears. She’s wearing a purple collar with pink and orange tags.

I went to a community art class this morning where I made (proudly) this:

A sheet of watercolor paper maybe 10”x8” inches is covered with small circles also of watercolor paper. The backs of the circles are colored with neon marker and are lifted up off the paper on spacers - the effect is that there is an orange glow on the base piece of paper. The circles are arranged sort of randomly, and some smaller circles are stacked on bigger ones.

Not exactly a bumper sticker but:

The back of a white Nissan car has black plastic lettering on it. It spells out above the license plate “SEND NUDES” and below the license plate it says “SNAPCHAT DDAVID915”. The letters look to be maybe 4” tall. It is VERY visible.

This week’s experiment: strawberry sheet cake

The strawberry sheet cake is now frosted in white and dotted with slices of strawberry. A couple of pieces are already gone, because we have no self-control over here.

The interior of one of Chicago’s train stations, looking up at a fantastic tiled ceiling. The ceiling is mostly off-white, with red squares sprinkled throughout, and multicolored “stripes” at the place where the arched ceiling meets the walls. The stripes are patterned gold, green and red. Below the stripes are the signs indicating the trains. Below this is a series of arches. There aren’t a lot of people there, and the whole scene is a little lonely.
