Dug out this fuzzy animatronic fellow. Brought him back from the throes of death (he was not working, after 15 minutes of trying I was mildly devastated and in my bereavement he started talking)

Yano the Interactive Storyteller, a small fur (a bit over a foot tall I'd estimate) covered creature with elf ears. Reminiscent of a gremlin.

An animatronic toy, like cross between an original Furby and Teddy Ruxpin.

He has been modified slightly with faux briws, a band-aid over the bridge if his nose, a dark red pointed knitted cap that has bright red ink added to the tip.

He is a very chill little guy, but he's in a costume as a mischievous rude little dude.

The new film is called Hollow. If you want a bad adaptation starring a actress who is notoriously typecast as a "ditzy blonde", with essentially the same title..look no further than The Hollow (2004). It's at least "so bad, it's funny" bsky.app/profile/sail...

Just watched The Hole in the Ground (2019) about changelings. I thibk it would be a great double feature with The Watchers.

My partner DIYed a switch for some pedals. Was going to go with nagazine cut outs for the numbers, but I remembered I thrifted these rub-on letters awhile back. I was worried they might not work because they looked older (possibly vintage), but it turned out pretty well.

Two photos

A package from my friend Christiane Knight, including three of her books:
"Cast A Shadow of Doubt", "A Third Kind of Madness" and "A Small Light In The Darkness", a card (with her lovely elven-esque handwriting), and a pouch full of surprises. So grateful for her frienship & kindness.

The outside of the package had these cute stickers of mushrooms, an owl on a tree branch surrounded by stars, a possum, and a black cat.

It took me way too long to give Fruits Basket a chance, because it was always only referred to as "slice of life". The promotional images I saw didn't hint at anything more.

They are making up hilariously inane features to offer people to pay for I assume the average person wouldn't "rewatch" a story unless it changed before they finished reading, or it had audio they couldn't turn their sound up the first time. So even for businesses this feels useless?

Did you notice the word "coming back" progressed after this happened? As a kid there were people throwing around the R word as a slang for bad, but there were also saying it, doing this pose with their hand saying "durrr". You can not separate these things, even if you wouldn't do the latter.
