Update… I’m working on this at my yarn group at the library that meets twice a month so I’m not getting done quickly, but I added more of the plates.

I’m trying to make an embroidery stegosaurus with rainbow plates and… maybe if I outline them? I don’t actually know what I’m doing.
This is what I was playing on my guitar. Only the treble clef. And much slower than the tempo indicated. At one point I had it almost memorized. It’s a pretty little tune, a bit plaintive when played slowly.
My local shelter had a litter of shepherd/beagle mixes and they all got claimed pretty quickly but one got returned and it is as funny looking as you might think.
No. There are different kinds. Foam is one kind. Rubber gaskets are another kind.

These two posts were one above the other in my skyline. I thought that was funny. Though the blues don’t exactly match.
Book club on Wednesday. It seems appropriate that I remembered to grab the book to read it today. May the 4th be with you. Also, I have no idea where this falls in the world of Star Wars. I’m a Trekkie.
And this is what it looked like before I added water. They suggested for covering large chunks of space to color first and then wet it. Alternatively, they said you could wet the pencil itself or wet the paper and then draw. Not sure how that would affect the outcome because I only drew first.
This is my reference picture. I couldn't get the colors right, but, again, I'm happy with how it turned out for the limited selection of 12 Crayola watercolor pencils!
Had our Adult Art Club last night. Our theme was “Trees” and I did this. I’d never used watercolor pencils before. I wasn’t too excited about it until I got it wet and the colors really livened up. They were just kind of dull pastel from the pencil. It’s not what I wanted but I’m pretty happy.
Sometimes we do crafts at my library programs and people go home excited to try it further. Sometimes we do the craft, finish up, and think, "Well, I never have to do this again!"
That’s Pennsylvania Code… looks like they shouldn’t mess with them, but there’s “except as otherwise provided…”
Made my Log Cabin #quilt block example for next week's program. It's too big because I didn't feel like cutting down my strips. But I left it as is for now. Kind of wishing my outside strips were my inside strips. Ah well. They're only going to be 1.25 inches wide when I trim it down.
My little… guy? I have no idea, really. My dad found it in a pool filter/overflow he was working on and brought it home. I don’t know why he didn’t just set it free. That was like 13 years ago. Much bigger now. Here it’s about half-dollar size. Its name is Saratoga. I call it Turts.
There is some weird shit in this bag of Salt & Vinegar Lay’s potato chips. I assume they’re lumps of flavoring. I accidentally ate one the other day. But there are more, I’m finding, in the bottom of the bag.
They revealed the answer and I laughed so hard. Doubled over, tears in my eyes. What is happening in the big picture? Can you tell from looking at the smaller picture? Let’s just say I thought she was crying and see if you can figure out my mistake. Peekaboo. I… didn’t get that.
I made my quilt square example for next week. This block is called Lost Sails and we do not need to speak about the bottom left corner.
