Suiren flower (water lily) in a small guppy vat has decided to bless us with a bloom… It bloomed yesterday, then closed up, and bloomed again today. How many times it will repeat its performance will be interesting to see.

Our 月下美人 (Gekkabijin) - Epiphyllum oxypetalum - Dutchmans pipe cactus, bloomed last night.
We were at Mt. Fuji yesterday/today, and found a new-to-us waterfall: Mother Shirataki. Very nice. Above my old stomping grounds between Kawaguchiko and Kofu, off of the old road which is no longer used by travelers.
I’d rather algae had seeds - ‘cause the spores do get introduced on duck feet, and I’d rather that the traitor not chop off the feet of ducklings.
Deer seen today - about 300 meters away. 5 seen here, but when they ran they were close to 20.
A juvenile ‘Yamakagashi’ snake - full coloration not yet developed (missing red).
