Random thought, but I think a lot of board/card games could learn from the instructions of Unstable Unicorns. They explicitly chose to have a set of words with set meanings, defined them, remained consistent in using them, clarified language, and even covered “impossible actions”

The Terms
Here is a list of defined terms you will see in the game:

Set-up terms
Stable: the area in which you play unicorn cards, upgrade cards, and downgrade cards.
Nursery: the area in which baby unicorn cards that are not in any player’s stable are kept.
Deck: the stack of black-backed cards from which players DRAW during the game. This may include black-backed cards from any of the expansion packs.
Discard pile: the stack of black-backed cards that have been sacrificed, destroyed, or discarded during the game. Additionally, some card effects require cards to be moved to the discard pile.

Active terms
SACRIFICE: Send a card in your stable to the discard pile.
DESTROY: send a card from any other player’s stable to the discard pile
Steal: move a card from any other player’s stable into your stable.
Discard: send a card from your hand to the discard pile.
Draw: Pull a card from the top of the deck and add it to your hand.

Player Targeting
Cards use specific terminology when referring to players.

Any player refers to any single player, including you.

Any other player refers to any player, excluding you.

Each player refers to every player, including you.

Each other player refers to every player, excluding you.

Any number of players refers to as many players as you choose, excluding you.

Card Effects with Multiple Actions

When a card effect requires multiple actions, those actions are sometimes separated by "and," "then," or "If you do." When resolving card effects, always perform multiple actions in the order in which they are listed on the card.

If a card says "and," you must perform both actions.

If a card says "then," you may only perform the second action if you successfully perform the first action.

If a card says "If you do," only perform the second action if you choose to perform the first action.

Impossible Actions

If you have a card in your hand that requires you to perform an impossible action, you may not play it. Sometimes, however, the effect of a card in your Stable or a card played by any other player may require you to perform an impossible action. If this situation occurs, disregard that action. Some impossible actions include:

DISCARD when you have no cards in your hand

SACRIFICE a card when you have no cards in your Stable

SACRIFICE a card that cannot be sacrificed

One of the villains of the 2006 revival of Biker Mice From Mars was a character called Ronaldo Rump, who was a used car salesman turned multi-billionaire that joined up with aliens to take over the world, making his base at Rump Tower. Can we please be done with this guy already!?

Ronaldo was a used car salesman who came across Stoker after he crash landed on Earth, who reluctantly sold him the first Regenerator and keeps it in his possession to make himself more wealthy, while the Biker Mice deals with Limburger in Chicago. After Limburger's eventual defeat, Rump was now a multi-billionaire whose expanding empire has now occupied the Plutarkians' territory and built his plaza tower over the usual spot where the Limburger Plaza used to be. Ronaldo was approached by Hannibal T. Hairball and his Catatonian army where Ronaldo formed an alliance with him to find Stoker and repower the Regenerator. During the final episodes, Rump planned to take over the world by using the Regenerator to disguise alien convicts as world leaders which he'd use as puppet rulers. He was foiled when Charley activated Limburger's old transporter which sent him to a tropical island where the natives held him captive to worship his rump. Rump was last seen begging to be returned to his old used car lot.

He is a parody of New York businessman and former U.S. president, Donald Trump.

Like, this was a referendum on my ballot… can anybody even guess what the change is? Cause I had to double check I could use my phone at the poll to look it up to find out.

Eligibility to vote. Shall section 1 of article III of the constitution, which deals with suffrage, be amended to provide that only a United States citizen age 18 or older who resides in an election district may vote in an election for national, state, or local office or at a statewide or local referendum?

Second is something very few should be surprised to see from me, it’s the Kanti Cycle novels from the Hayven Celestia universe! These sci-fi novels featuring the kangaroo inspired Geroo are what got me into furry literature for certain, and I highly recommend them!

Skeleton Crew, Small World, and Fair Trade, the three novels of the Kanti Cycle, written by Gre7g Luterman and illustrated by Rick Griffin!

first up is a collection of old sci-fi featuring anthro characters. Firebird, a time travelling story featuring evil AI, Godsfire where anthro cats keep humans as slaves, and Architect of Sleep, where a human is lost in a world of raccoon people who speak in sign language!

Have this near perfect example of a great book with the kind of cover I described (few details I forgot, but that’s where the skill comes in)

Had to look this up, and it has me thinking again how we just threw out the “demand” side if “supply and demand” Like, who tf looks at this game and genuinely goes “wow! That game is definitely worth $500!!” Like, idc how “rare” it is, paying that I better not see you say $80 is too much for a game

I don’t even know where to start with this, a red and blue spikey creature that’s mostly mouth is about to eat a sentient onion, followed by a cross between Kirby and a dog Beanie Boo both floating over an island with more sentient foods on it from grapes to broccoli, a shroom creature and some chocolate thing. The game itself was just as weird, but it is completely unrelated to the NFT grift of the same name.
