Ward 22, which is Rabb's heartland in Philly is mostly in, so that explains some of his lead, but Street and Stanford splitting the vote almost evenly is a best case scenario for him. It's looking good.
Putting on my Philly elections nerd hat on for a second. All the people breathlessly reporting on the results need to chill. From what I can tell, what we're seeing right now are just the mail ballots. Which tend to skew older and I don't expect to favor Rabb.
They don't mind that their taxes are being used to kill Ukrainians, they mind that they're being used to block their social media. They don't mind that the immigrants have few rights, they mind when they're put on the same level as those immigrants. A sick, rotten society all the way through.
Turns out that being an unreliable, inconsistent, and often simply incoherent shithead to everyone you deal with has its downsides.
