Hello hey #PortfolioDay! I'm Sandal, a digital artist who loves taking the viewer on a journey through the whimsical and mysterious. 🖌️https://sandalart.carrd.co/
I was privileged enough to do the cover for the World Beyond fantasy zine!! Come get your goodies!! bsky.app/profile/worl...
I painted this to grieve a friend of mine who passed away this week. she used mask symbolism in her poetry, and hid how much anguish she was in every day. now she no longer has to hide. I hope she has found peace.
Hello!! I'm Sandal and I love creating mysterious fantasy. Come on a journey with me!
Today is my birthday! 🥳 Would love it if you could share my art so people can enjoy it!
the violent jump from 2019 vs 2025 (I finally found some 2019 landscape art to compare, lol)
hellooooo morally grey character whom the fandom treats like an innocent princess I love u #DragonAge #JosephineMontilyet
april 2025 versus april 2026 ✌️ sometimes I feel like all I do are repaints but this one was quite accidental 😂
The Glassblower There's plenty of cool fantasy paintings about smiths, but not enough about glassblowers or other crafts. Tried to give it a whirl!
Hello #PortfolioDay 🥰 I'm Sandal. Come on a journey with me! 🖌️ sandalart.carrd.co
Did a paintover of a painting I made back in October 2025 to see how much I've improved... I've traded brighter colors for more atmosphere and storytelling, and I'm mostly a lot savvier on how to use references. Onwards! #FantasyArt #ArtSky
Strange Machines (hard, mechanical surfaces are extremely my weakness but I tried my best) #Art #ArtSky #FantasyArt
You Cannot Kill Me in a Way That Matters a quickie - I really needed to work on something not zine-related today. #ArtSky #FantasyArt
🏳️⚧️Feeling very visible on this #tvod #TransDayOfVisibility I'm Sandal, a disabled trans illustrator. You can help me get more people to ogle my art by sharing this post!
Hellooo I'm Sandal and I love sending off people on a journey with my art!
Digital artists, share your first digital art and year vs. now ✨ 2006 versus 2026. I didn't get serious-serious about my art until 2018 thereabouts but it still feels like twenty damn years of toiling.
Congrats on the milestone! Your poses have helped me so much, especially with gesture drawing! 2017 versus 2026
