Artist,photographer with interest in geology, astronomy. I enjoy walking through forests and beaches, very long hikes inner city, swimming, gardening, dancing, and good music! Anyone else out there getting a little bit frightened with what’s going on?
This morning in the garden, I came to this delight and filled this little monarch. It’s been buzzing around in this heat, and heavy smoke from forest fires in Canada. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY.!
Oh, it’s a gorgeous Poppy! Myself, I have the red variety. Blooming in first two weeks of June and through the month. As usual, we have a bad rain at their blooming time nearly 90% it didn’t happen this year. My iPhone took this photo.

SpringBeauty Wild flower, very delicate light pink to white. Short blooming time, usually on the carpet of the woods.
Found these in my garden, they were growing in the mulch from last year. Not sure what these little fellas are,they were tiny.
LEAF. Lake Erie Arbor at Frontier Park. In bloom, many trees may gave gotten bitten by a hard frost or loss to winter. Beautiful walk last evening.

European garden spider I used to have so many and then I don’t know what happened. They all disappeared because it really had a good home and it was no one in my yard to hurt them. I miss my spiders.
Early morning visitor and I hope this monarch makes it to Mexico. I’m happy that my garden still provides enough flowers. To provide the energy for their flight south.
Zinnias, the late bloomers. Monarch butterflies like these cause there’s not much else to eat.

My favorites when a kid, a toad. Nearly stepped on it, so glad it just went into the brush and sat still for this picture, at the peninsula.
Red Wing blackbird last night at the park. They wee a mating couple. One almost knocked my friends cap off .
Mating pair of doves at presque isle park. They blend in so well against the branches.
This little fella was so tired he could hardly move and he was on the Holly bush. I went inside the house and I put some honey on my finger and would you believe he ate that honey off my finger he did and then he flew off. he was one happy camper. I’m sure
Woodpecker’s I believe they may have been trying to pair up and mate. There were plenty of areas in trees that seemed like they had hollow areas for nesting.
