Canning is exhausting but i really like using the fruit 🤷‍♀️ grateful that I'm feeling well enough this year to do this. Last year i tried to do a roasted fig preserve and burned them so they were like Robitussin. All trash. Still... I'm WIPED.

I'm scrolling through RIT dye's color mixing chart and as I scroll past "frost blue" "pale blue" and "midnight blue" i see this absolute gem of a color name. Whatever creative person in a boring ass job named "work shirt floating in a fae pond" has my endless respect. I see you pal.

Just finished Some Desperate Glory after delaying my library loan like 6x and wow I think my unconscious knew now would be the right moment. SO GOOD Sci Fi dystopian futurism from the inside of a separatist movement with time bending and aliens and I can't spoil it but hard recommend by Emily Tesh

Hey #knitting ppl - help me decide what to work on next! I've never done colorwork and both of these just use 2 colors (left is w variegated yarn). Right one says you CUT IT at the center after knitting round?! I'm afraid! Can't decide.

So sucky. I'm using a "vintage" (ie it was my mom's as a teen) pattern right now to make my kid a pirate blouse and it feels so much more precious knowing this.
