Good news: The median delay between sample collection and posting to GISAID dropped from 474 days in 2024 to 59 days in 2025 😀. Median delays dropped ten-fold for both 🇳🇴 and 🇫🇷 😀😀! But there remains great variation. 🇨🇦 improved but still has a median delay over a year (469 days in 2025).
