I Love Boosters (2026): Two women waddling across a parking lot away from a building marked "Metro Designers". One of them wears a hilariously overstuffed pink jumpsuit, the other wears a long orange coat and tries to keep a load of clothing from dropping out of it to her feet.

Moonstruck (1987): Cher and Nic Cage looking fine as hell all dressed up for the opera, which they are looking off-camera to watch.

Hokum (2026): A person with long, black hair, rabbit ears, grey face paint, and angry bug-eyes sticks their head through sheer curtains, glaring downward

Is God Is (2026): Kara Young sits behind Mallori Johnson on some concrete steps, giving her a hug around her neck. Johnson has old burn scars all over her face, and two of Young's fingers have been fused by a burn. They are both smiling.

Very solid movies month, however

Red Rooms (2023) - A young woman with blonde hair and blue eyes sits between and behind two out-of-focus people against a grey wall, wearing a maroon cardigan? over a white uniform polo, staring into the camera as she jams fake braces onto her upper jaw with her thumbs, producing a deranged, almost vampiric expression.

Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975) - Four young women wearing long-sleeved white dresses sit with backs to some dry trees and rocks, three of them slumping inward onto the girl with round glasses and a silly little hat. The three girls above are looking down, while the blonde girl positioned below them gazes wistfully upward.

Dredd (2012) - A man clad all in black futuristic armor with a black and red visored helmet runs toward the camera holding a gun as a fiery explosion flashes behind him to the right in a concrete hallway with a couple of benches. One person behind him covers their head while falling away from the explosion, another person lays limply on the ground.

Mint has been pretty good so far but early on it updated and the app launcher started looking all fucked and unformatted and I simply don't know how to fix it

the Linux Mint app launcher is open and all the items are crammed together and the lock, log out, power, and search functions at the bottom of the pop up menu are similarly weirdly sized and spaced

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement that the shooting occurred as border patrol agents were stopping a vehicle. McLaughlin alleged that both the driver and the passenger were members of the “vicious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua” and that the passenger had been involved in a prostitution ring and a recent shooting in Portland.

OPB could not immediately confirm the allegations.

“When agents identified themselves to the vehicle occupants, the driver weaponized his vehicle and attempted to run over the law enforcement agents,” McLaughlin said. “Fearing for his life and safety, an agent fired a defensive shot. The driver drove off with the passenger, fleeing the scene. This situation is evolving, and more information is forthcoming.”
