High Heels (1991) Estranged for 15 years, a movie star mom reunites with her news anchor daughter to find she's married her old flame. Then he's murdered. I wouldn't rate it as one of the better Almodóvar movies I've seen, but worth a look. That cop's backstory was a bit outrageous.
The School Teacher aka L'insegnante (1975) A goof-off high school son of a judge is assigned a beautiful young tutor since he's too important to fail. He falls in love, but she's engaged to his doofus PE teacher. Horrible protagonist in this sexcom that without Edwige Fenech wouldn't be worth much
The Big Switch (1968) A ladies man is framed for murdering a chick who brought him home from a London nightclub and gangsters blackmail into taking photos with his shirt off with models. Then there's a shootout at an arcade. Pete Walker's first feature is mild smut thinly disguised as a crime drama
The Iron Commissioner (1978) A hot-headed punk blames a police commissioner for his father's death, so he holds the entire prescient hostage including the commish's ex-wife & kid. But he's not just any commissioner. Maurizio Merli is Mauro Mariana w/ Mariangela (Burial Ground) Giordano & Janet Argen
The Rape of the Vampire (1968) Jean Rollin's first feature is a pair of loosely related shorts, one about four beautiful sisters who claim to be 200yo vampires, much to the confusion of doctors and villagers, and one about the Queen of Vampires in search for a cure. Confusing but great to look at!
Innocent Blood (1992) A French vampiress unintentionally turns the Pittsburgh mafia into bloodsuckers when she fails to kill one all the way and he multiplies. Starring Anne Parillaud, a who's who of mob movie actors, multiple horror cameos and Don Rickles in John Landis' horror comedy.
Night of the Sharks (1988) Treat Williams, a fisherman in Mexico whose shady, dead brother leaves him a compact disc to blackmail some bad guys. He hides it in the belly of a man-eating great while that the locals call "The Cyclops". 100% of this was filmed in the day. Antonio Fargas, Janet Argen

1989 - 1991 was a hotbed for underground vampire action in LA. I know, I was there! I'm reminded of another mini-theme-within-a-theme for #Junepires with #LosAngepires. Vampire at Midnight, Pale Blood, To Die For & Blood Ties are just a sample, I'm sure there were more!
Blood Ties (1991) Jason London is a Texas teen who flees to Los Angeles relatives when his parents are ritualistically murdered in their home where he discovers he's got vampire blood and there's a secret society that's ready to go public. Michelle Johnson's cleavage almost makes this tolerable.

Son of Darkness: To Die For II (1991) Dracula is licensed MD now (missed opportunity to call him "Dr. Acula") dating the single mother of an infant who complains about all her bad blind dates. When do you find the time, honey? Amanda Wyss and one other guys returns, the rest of the cast is new.
Lifeforce (1985) Space vampires over London in Tobe Hooper's batshit classic. Steve Railsback makes out with Patrick Stewart AND Mathilda May! Just gets better every damn time I watch it, I'd rate it a near masterpiece now. (1/2)
Mutant Vampires from the Planet Neptune (2021) They're in the woods and spoiling a party weekend for two couples and a tag-along sister who rented a cabin. See the shiny VHS covers on this guy's shelf display! (2/2)
From Dusk Till Dawn 3: The Hangman's Daughter (1999) Prequel set in the early 1900s Mexico with a similar plot to the first. Outlaws and other randos wind up in a vampire bar that locks the doors and all hell breaks loose. Better than FDTD2. Micheal Parks, Sonia Braga, Ara Celi, Rebecca Gayheart
