The Watch Duty app (what a love hate relationship- it has a sound when it updates that makes every hair on my arms ⚡) shows I'm in no physical danger- doesn't quite show that it's about to destroy our vintage if the winds don't shift, but quick.

It REALLY worked out great for me, highly recommend, five enthusiastic stars (in case anyone is asking me what I think about flying across the country, having $$$ of dog stuff shipped ahead, renting a car and driving back to CA with a dog who's never seen an elevator 🤯) Yeah. Absolutely do that.
I wish anyone had brought up how impossible that beautiful poster would have been without Chuck Close, but I agree it's obviously magnificent. Me? Brazil. I'm biased-my best friend moved in with me in 2002 & a WALL sized original poster came with him. It looked incredible in my salmon kitchen!

I have that book and same! I don't know why I haven't bought this one yet. I have been so impressed with Smitten Kitchen for years, then found him separately. My brain almost imploded when I found out Kenji and Deb had started a podcast. Great great (good!) food people. Sleepy dog says hi Jeems 😁

If you click on the little hamburger (three stripes) top left of the home page, in the drop down you will see "Accessibility" and within lies this rad option which I really wish was the default you had to turn off instead of on, but still- it's really great! Please consider it as a 2026 resolution!

This child woke me up to go yell at a helpless possum in the yard. I only let her out because she was screaming bloody murder and I was worried the neighbors would think I was sacrificing children at 2am. She is so proud of herself. Such a good Possum Frightener™️ 🤦🏼♂️
