I love this cycle infrastructure at Westerhailes ‘designed’ to keep cyclists ‘safe’, sorry i meant out of the way.
It will not be a thing in 6 months anyway. Existing cycle paint infrastructure in Edinburgh…
You do know that all the red stuff and markings on the road will be gone in around 6 months and never maintained by yourselves?
In contrast Edinburgh built a multi lane road and no one came. Comiston road this morning at 8:30am. The under utilisation of our road infrastructure is incredibly wasteful.
I’m just back from northern Spain n SW France and all the towns n cities are full of the fat tyre bikes. Often with bench seat, teenagers zipping around, transporting their mates. Parents carrying children. Old folks going shopping.
My other fav was this one with 3 different discharges going on. Moment before the main strike.

You can’t beat Edinburgh at 10:30pm in June. After a coastal spin to N Berwick. Simply unbeatable.

These floating bus stops (that have existed for at least 15 years) that allow cars on both sides, will NEVER catch on! Far too dangerous. 😜

I’ve got no idea how a child could be seriously injured by a Toyota hilux (described by STV as a car). Oh… Described by Toyota a powerful and UNSTOPPABLE. Yup, goes right through kids. Just like the JLR did in Wimbledon. 😬WTF
And on the other side pedestrians are squeezed into less than 2m of pavement. And they won’t mind if we stick a traffic signal pole in the middle too!
So today I spotted my fav motorbike. Back in the day when I had a bright yellow Honda zoomer a matte tried to convince me I needed a VanVan. They are nice. So here I bring you a prime example seen today. AND sit has a surf board carrier! ❤️
