Just spending Saturday in the park, chilling in lawn chairs by the river with my wife, watching samurai movies on the big screen. We got a dumpling stand and someone set up a whole-ass video store. Imagine not living in Philadelphia. Ridiculous.
For sure these people are going to appreciate the nuance that you only criticize their UFC event for its corruption, not it's tackiness. They'll understand and respect where you're coming from.

I am pretty skeptical of Angel "Sound of Freedom" Studios putting out a modernized CG animated adaptation of Orwell's "Animal Farm" starring Seth Rogen but credit where it's due, this promotion is INSANE:
Good haul in the mail today, stuff from American Bird Conservancy, @theonion.com, and The Ducktown Weekly. I absolutely adore The Ducktown Weekly, every week just a collection of newspaper comics, on actual newsprint. Also columns about national parks, birds, and poetry. Not an ad, I just love it.
This comes after he's done a bunch of "ughghh you can't say ANYTHING these days" kind of strips. Old man mad at participation trophies, Facebook Boomer kind of stuff. You kind of have to see it happen over time and read between the lines. This was a few months ago.
The problem with newspaper comics as a medium is that unless you're an obsessive who reads every day, you don't pick up on the subtle changes over a long period of time. Pastis started running "both sides bad" stuff a few years ago but only occasionally, but he ramped it up. This was last month:
