Aymeric's arm is protectively wrapped across her chest as he looks back over his shoulder at the passing knights. She holds lightly to his arm and remains very still and quiet.

Aymeric tucks her face against him, fingers in her hair, his free hand reaching to trace the back of fingers. Rinh is wearing a ring with the Fortemps crest, and peers out from beneath his arm.

Aymeric leans over her, tucking his chin to the top of Rinh's head now, a conflicted expression on his face. Her own expression is distant, gaze unfocussed as she gazes down the hall.

Zoomed out, it is clear the ward knights have gone on their way and Rinh and Aymeric are alone. He gazes off the direction they went, standing straight. Rinh has not moved, but holds one hand to her chest. Aymeric has mostly stepped back from her, but one hand still rests carefully on her hip.

Rinh is wearing a white and red gown composed of details from Yotsuyu's kimono. She wears spider lilies in her hair. This is the version of Rinh that the Alliance leaders "paid for" - the higanbana maiden of Hingashi who speaks with the dead in her own voice and the living with the voice of Uzume.

Rinh is wearing the custom-made robe of healing and the YoRHa Type-51 hood of scouting. This is the image the people begin to associate with the Warrior of Light.

$He doesn’t really care for teaching. Ophelie’s voice is quiet and a little concerned when she says, “Father Augustiniel?” He looks up at her and finds her very close. He is the one holding her hands, leaning over like he won’t let them go. But she has leaned in too, like she wants to know what he’s thinking. Best not. “Dear Ophelie,” he says, ponderous. She inclines her head, a wordless question, but doesn’t move away. “Sweet Ophelie,” he says, and her eyes widen a fraction. Those remarkable, dark eyes like deep, calm water at midnight. “Would you consider giving me one more thing for my nameday?” he asks. Ophelie wets her lips before she nods, and he thinks he could spend far too much time examining why she’d do such a thing. “Yes, Father,” she says. Very quietly. “Those in my close confidence, my family, call me August. Would you do that, dear Ophelie Myste?” he asks, still holding onto her hands, now drawing slow circles on her palms with his thumbs as he peers at her through the curtain of hair that has fallen into his blue eyes. A twinkle, she thinks. “F-father August?” she tries. She is a clever girl. She knows this is not what he means. He smiles. Shows his teeth. “Just August, dear girl,” he says. Very briefly and far too late, Ophelie wonders — has he ever called his other students dear? “August,” she says. He is old enough to be her father. Just barely. But he isn’t. Just August. “Was that all?” she asks. Augustiniel may be, despite his best efforts, something of a prideful man. His expression turns a little amused, softening as he watches her fluster. She doesn’t seem to want to meet his eyes. She hasn’t pulled her hands away. So he raises one to his lips. Kisses the delicate palm. Lingers just a breath longer than he should. “Yes.” He says, his lips brushing her fingertips as he speaks. He lets her hands go and she holds them in space like she isn’t sure where to withdraw. “That was all. Thank you, Lady Myste.”$
