A gorgeous sunset this evening here in Tucson. And it’s cooled down to a crisp 95° (35° for non-US friends). I had a lovely stroll.
The collect today is a banger. We do need the leaders of our church to realize that self-denying is their first duty. Not getting more power, more prestige, or a more money. Sacrifice first. ⚓️
Look, I had fresh lettuce for my tacos at lunch up here in Canada. And most likely I won’t need to be hospitalized for enjoying some fresh produce.

I don't eat beef these days, but if I did, I'd have some roast beef to celebrate England's victory over France. What's old is new again, including a national rivalry that Hogarth cashed in on 250 years ago. (Yes, I'm engaging in gross caricature, not unlike the attached engraving.)
Congress has done no such thing, only the House has passed this bill. Journalists should know better. If we don’t understand basics of our government, we’re not going to make much progress toward a becoming a healthier republic.
I was mostly glad to see Spain win, though I had been looking forward to a France vs. England match. There's a long history of grudge!
Personally, as your #archnemesis, I like to imagine you've driven dozens (if not hundreds) of people to move to Denham, Australia, the town on the literal opposite side of the globe from where you live. But yay for baptism!
Sure, the world is a dumpster fire, but it’s not *all* a disaster. I enjoyed these excellent empanadas in my own neighborhood! Glad to find a new place to eat yummy food.
