I am beginning to suspect that Trump is so insane that he lives entirely in a world of his own mind’s creation, a delusional world, an alternate reality that is all he knows. Other people have moved there too, to be with him, and they support his insanity. We call them Republicans.

There is no "cloud." "Cloud" is a genius marketing euphemism for "someone else's computer." When I finally realized that, I decided I didn't want to pay someone to store my stuff on their computer. So I quit. Or tried to. Turns out, though, quitting a cloud's almost as hard as quitting the Mafia.

I’m seeing a lot of ridicule of Markwayne Mullin using this image. For all I know, he might be as soulless as Kristi Noem. But this image, of him fearfully taking cover as a violent mob crashes the doors of the chambers, is as human a reaction as possible, not worthy of ridicule.

Some excitement at Casa Powers this morning. An injured/sick bald eagle perched in our tree. A team from the local Audubon Center for Birds of Prey had been chasing reports of him all morning & arrived. They lured him down. He could barely fly & flopped into our backyard, where they rescued him.

Connie & I attended our 1st No Kings rally today in Orlando. Big crowd. Great day. Lively. Peaceful. Inspiring. Fun. 2 criticisms: “No Kings” is a dumb slogan. Libs/Dems/Anti-MAGAs/general opposition need to focus. Any & every progressive cause means something in the platform to turn off everyone.
