My situation right now. She’s one of two rescues we have. But, let’s be clear. She adopted me.
Every one of ours has been a rescue. Our last one gave us 8.5 wonderful years (she was 17). Now we have a Shih Tzu and a Shih Poo mother and daughter pair for the last 2 years.

Face ID rarely works anyway. How to turn it off on you iPhone: Settings->Face ID & Passcode (scroll down a bit to find it)-><enter your passcode)->turn off “iPhone Unlock”. Also, make a habit of always locking your phone by pressing the button on the right side every time you set it down.
When you have an absolutely shitty day, the doggies know it. My current situation. Moving isn’t an option at this point. ❤️
Some doggies snuggling on a January evening without a care in the world.
We’re pretty sure Zhora, my older dog, is Pris’ mother. Zhora will often groom Pris and they love to snuggle together. Pris is also a real brat to Zhora sometimes, and Zhora just takes it. Until she’s had enough, of course. Zhora is the Shih Tsu. Pris is a Shih Poo.
Multiple times a week, someone in my household will come walking in the living room and ask “where’s Pris.” Invariably, she’s always in the same spot.
Picked up the doggies today from the wonderful woman who fostered them. She dog sat for us while we were on vacation. I got the most wonderful welcome from them. Pris jumped and nearly bit me trying to smile and kiss me at the same time. Even Zhora jumped into my arms. ❤️
Time for more doggies. Zhora like sleeping like this. We have to pull her back on the bed to prevent her falling off. Needless to say, she’s not the smart one. ❤️
More doggies. Because who doesn’t need some cute doggies as the world burns.
They mostly just cuddle and sleep. Zhora is a Shih Tzu. She’s very laid back. Pris is a Shih-Poo. She’s a bit reactive. Noises set her off. But she’s incredibly loving. A car door across the street will set her off. But then she’ll climb up on you and push her face under your hand and want pet.
Time for another doggie post. They begged and did tricks for ice cold water. It was adorable. Of course I was taking it to refill their water bowl. But I just gave in when they both stood on their hind legs.
Our dogs love this “beanbag” chair to sleep on. It’s about twice as tall as they are. They jump up, and snuggle in together. ❤️
Was sitting on the couch the other night trying to get some last minute work done before vacation. Kind of hard to work like this.
