Here's a clip of the trick I used for the combo contest. This is from one of the practice runs when I was still getting the hang of the timing for DoublePoint being used the previous turn, but activating it on the next one. Shoutouts to @ellymakesjazz.bsky.social for helping me out with said timing!
I'm experimenting with ideas for the Battle Network 4 combo contest that The Comboist is doing and one of my plans involves possibly attempting the ShadeMan fight again as a backup plan. Praying it does not come to that.
Replaying Mega Man Zero 4 and what do you mean the upper path of Fenri Lunaedge's stage had a metal pipe you can grab and use this whole time?
My Leo save is maxed out, too! It'll definitely come in handy if you need more HP for PVP!
I finally got an under 10 second S rank on a satellite admin in SF1 for the first time! Needing to wear down Leo Kingdom's 3200 hp while he has super armor is BRUTAL! If anyone is playing the Starforce LC on switch, let me know if you'd like to become brothers so you can use the record, too!
I got a shiny Gulpin in Pokemon Ruby! The lightining on my GBA SP doesn't show it very well, but it is Blue! At least the shimmer in-battle makes it a little easier to spot! Hoping it shows up better once it evolves!
I also love the art for some of these docs! The Big Grenade one describing why BA should never fight Rogue Noise is a personal favorite.
Genuinely though, give Virgo a shot, it's damn good. It's one of the best 4 forms in the game for PVP.
That said, I do find it very funny (and justifiable) how the SF3 netbattler community reacted to DSGX being okay for the LC.
I mean, Cygnus has SOME chance at survival IF it can multinoise immediately, but Cancer... well... I mean, I didn't make the tiering for SF3, but you're probably better off running Virgo for an Aqua Noise. It is one of the best forms in the game.
My advice for anyone considering trying Mega Man Starforce's PVP with less than 1,000 health: Don't.
Sub-18 minutes in Sonic CD! Finally! You have no idea how long it took to get below a minute and a half on Metallic Madness 3.
Heck yes! CD is my favorite of the 2D games, though Mania is a darn close second! I'm actually working on going for sub 19 minutes on my time attack record! I'm getting closer and closer, little by little!
You can tell Mega Man Starforce 3 is peak video games because I opened this door before even finishing the postgame scenario. Even after 18 years, I still can't get enough of the combat in this game!
Yeah, this scene hits everyone hard! Massive kudos to the devs on this, they really nailed the sense of devastation Geo feels in this moment.
His arm merging with the head of the Gospel Beast was sick as hell and one of the best design decisions they gave him other than his signature cloak!
I have no idea what to put in the Julius Caesar category, but otherwise this was fun to put together!
So, uh. Apparently you can lose ALL of your rank progress in PVP in the Mega Man Starforce Collection if you lose enough. I was at copper rank 1 and now I'm back down to the most basic rank... in all 3 games. Even my win record has been wiped and my BP has dropped to 50. Ouch. #MegaMan #Starforce
I finally got sub 40 seconds on Metallic Madness Act 2 in Sonic CD at the tail end of my lunch break today (38:90 being my new record)! The end of the run gave me quite a good laugh, as the instant I crossed the goal post, my best friend humorously notified me of the size of their new plushie!
Yo, if anyone playing the new Mega Man Starforce collection on Steam would like a maxed out Brother in SF2, I've got all the titlescreen icons and all the under 10 second S-ranks dealt with on my Ninja save! Just say the world and I'll lend you my link power! All 150 points of it!
The best part of reaching the postgame of Mega Man Starforce 2 is that's where you can start building Storm Folders and oh how I ADORE Storm Folders! These things are so easy to mulch everything with, especially with Ninja boosting Jungle Storm. Oh, Hollow! I need your cards for the library!
