Seattle and Okanogan area. Proud Resistor / Anti-Fascist British Brass Band musician Educator Anglophile Seattle Sounders, West Ham and AFC Richmond fan Ted Lasso and Roy Kent are my alternating Spirit Animals 🏳️🌈
The spirit of Coach Beard visited my office before I arrived at work and left this. Ted Lasso S4, E2 IYKYK
Another reason why I love Seattle... Molly Moon's ice cream sundae special:
I was today years old when it dawned on me: Ted's mom's name is really Dorothy (Dottie)! As a person who's made pilgrimage(s) to most of the filming locations (before it was cool) and likely seen each episode between 15-30 times (don't judge), I've recognized Oz themes, but this felt truly AHA!
If Frei hadnt shown up tonight, Sounders would be down by about 47 goals by now. It seems like our passes go to no one on our team for the most part. Almost like our players havent been practicing together or havent played on the same team.
Still revelling in the VARgentina thug's loss. And then this lovely graphic on Threads showed up to further brighten my day.
Enjoying Eng vs Nor WC🏆 at Brick Park in Seattle. I'm going to miss this vibe when the cup runneth over.
Video from the Seattle Barge World Cup soccer celebration. Thanks to Sounders for sponsoring these events!
Sounders and Reign sponsored Pride watch party on the Barge. Belgium vs New Zealand. Brad Evans is doing a good job as emcee and keeping the pride vibe going.
Seattle World Cup 2026... sometimes literally on Puget Sound. There isn't "Sounder" way to do a World Cup experience. #SeattleSounderFootball
World Cup watch party on the Barge for Brazil vs Morocco. Best Moment: seeing Sounders player Pedro de la Vega looking healthy Tied for 2nd Best Moment: Crowd booing Tom Brady and cheering Mayor Mamdani when shown on the big screen.
Enjoying a beautiful day in the Okanogan Highlands. (with Osyoos and Oroville across the lake and Chopaka Mtn in the distance)
Seattle freakin' Sounders. 1st MLS team to win Open Cup, MLS Cup, Concacaf, and Leagues Cup... and make 2 trips to Club World Cup!!
According to Distributive property of PSG. PSG beats Miami 5-0 PSG beats Seattle 2-0, so naturally Sounders beat Miami 3-0. Its in the math.
Awesome 1st half. Let's go Sounders! Love the tifo. "Success is built, not BOUGHT"
Seeing so many empty seats during Sounder's Leagues cup matches has been sad. Some home games felt like there were more away supporters then home. If Sounder's fans don't show up for the final against the Inter- Messi Fightin' Messis, I'ma be pissed. Glad we're in Conca for next year!
Still in shock Seattle Sounder just annihilated reigning Concacaf champions 7 -0 . I think many of us knew you had these performances in you. Glad to see it surface finally! Such tenacity!
Thank you Sounders for silencing all the Cruz Azul fans. Almost the entire section around us were visitors! BTW, THIS is the level of play I knew you were capable of!
At Lumen field prior ro Sounders match... might be more Cruz Azul fans than the home team fans by the start of the match. Their home is thousands of miles away; this should be HUMILIATING for Sounders ownership. I feel for our players. Maybe building rosters on low budget has repercussions??
