A new RPG for the PS5 is out today, Avowed, so I have yet another purple-haired character named Bun Bohue ready to embark on an adventure. I love video games 🤣
Real estate agents are doing the most wildly embarrassing shit on social media with the Bad Bunny show
Don’t have a pic of my dog playing but I do have this pic of a neighborhood fox living it up in my front yard this morning.
Picked up this circa 1959 Smith-Corona Electric Portable. This one is going to be a real project: the motor stutters like an old Ford, it's dirty as hell, and the left platen knob is broken (though I have all the pieces). I know I can make it pretty, gonna see if I can make it really work.
When you're having a party and that annoying friend of a friend of a friend won't take the hint to leave.
On The Back Half podcast, talking quotes from radical libertarian SF writers and how solipsistic fascists don't understand the actual world around them. seanbugg.substack.com or youtube.com/seanbugg
If you see this, quote with a robot that isn’t from Star Wars, Star Trek, Doctor Who or Transformers.
My own little gunslinger, the oldest of my childhood toys I still own, posed with books from the author who made me want to be a writer. I don't remember if my mom or an aunt made it for me but I'm glad I still have it. Even more glad I have all the books (and more!) I wanted as a kid. #booksky
You've been kidnapped. The characters from the last TV show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who is coming to save you? Welp, I'm screwed.
Today isn’t really the day to send me a fundraising message Sen. Warner. Send me something about what the fuck you’re going to do.
I've picked up some awards over time but being a Capital Pride Hero is my favorite because I never, ever would have dreamt of it as a gay kid in rural Kentucky. I appreciate everyone who was a hero before me and everyone who has been a hero after, whether you received a trophy or not.
On the one hand, I’m a progressive who’s skeptical of the American military complex. On the other hand, my niece just graduated from the Air Force Academy and she’s a fuckin’ badass. And an example of why immigrants rock.
Dupont Circle, Washington, DC, circa summer 1993, back when I was doing a photo project on wheat-pasted flyers. No prints remain, but I found my contact sheets. Always loved this one, Gen X went harder than people remember (even if we didn't hold up over time). #photography #genx #DC
I have no desire to hate on the Post because I know and like people who work there, but I'd really fucking love to hear the convo choosing the verbs "discussing" and "donating," since they are "giving" and "bribing."
Decided to go old school writing my Virginia senators (Kaine and Warner), first thanking them for voting against that Trump/Musk continuing resolution, and second politely asking that they dump fucking Chuck Schumer already. I feel like I just put 1,000 EXP into my "grumpy old man" stat.
Why would I need to “imagine with AI” when I already have this fucking tool I just used called LANGUAGE? Even if my language is bad.
