Today is my Mom's birthday. She wanted a low key birthday with her kids and grandkids at the local pool. Swam for a good long while in the sweltering heat & sun and then went back to my folks place for pizza & ice cream cake. Couldn't ask for a better Mom or Mimi (as the grandkids call her).

Just let my dog out the back door so he could do his business. In the 4 seconds that the door was open the frigid 6 degree air just hit and clung to me. Poor Ferg is walking in the flower bed cause there's a foot of snow out there. (Obligatory dog picture attached)
We've gotten a decent amount of snow here in Lake County but it's nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be.
