Got a new iPhone the other day (my old one wouldn't charge right anymore) and noticed a bit of amusing #pareidolia when viewing the #TMobile paper store bag at an angle - that effect is especially pronounced at night with the lights off. 🤣

Last component. No matter what angle the left one is (the radial corridors have that at more of an angle than the concentric ones), it'll always end up the exact same height as the vertical ones. I've used more trig in a week for shit like that than I have in the past twenty years for anything. 🤣

Whole mess more done. Numerous fixes made including rebuilding several parts of the concentric corridor to be more accurate and added the radial corridor (still a couple detail bits to add to that). Thanks @portalrealm.bsky.social for some incredibly helpful references. 🖖

Decided to rebuild my old Stage 9 corridors using #GeometryNodes to power the segments. I can specify the radius for a corridor ring and the width for each segment and it'll automatically place the parts so they always line up precisely end-to-end when I rotate them into place. #Blender #GeoNodes

@portalrealm.bsky.social do you happen to know how deep this inset is? I couldn't find it actually dimensioned anywhere in the Galaxy plans (just the width).

IIRC, I based what I did for those off Mr Scott's Guide aligned to the nearest rational angle. I don't recall seeing an actual cross-section of those concentric corridors, but it's been six years so I could be mistaken now. Last thing - I'm perspective-fixing some stuff that may help you. 🙂
