I finally got my hands on a Japanese copy of Spyro 1 and I'm losing my mind at the art in the manual for this version 😭
I am actually melting in this photo (was so hot in London) but it actually gives me a very laid-back vibe here so I'll take it
had such a wonderful time performing at Algorest! Key takeaways: - I love performing from scratch. Nearly used prepp'd stuff but glad I didn't in the end! - Not needing high tech gear for this, this is just my iPad and separate kb/m - Hydra feels really natural to me, will follow that feeling
started taking my kids toy camera to events like algoraves and I'm finally starting to understand how to use the limits to my advantage
However I lost Internet halfway though and had to emergency pivot to drawing live and my saved animations - the Chocobo played in time to the audio which was a v happy accident
Had such an amazing time at Algorythms last night with visuals - glad to see the iPad is viable! (Big thanks to @mtrc.bsky.social for capturing!)
I was saying "imagine if [insert funny scenario]" to my partner and had the absolutely depressing realisation that if you type "imagine" into an Instagram DM it'll auto-suggest using genAI to do it for you.
Finally done hand painting this EoE denim corset top. I Had A Vision of this and I'm so glad it turned out pretty well!
went to algorhythms last night (and performed for the first time wooo!) took the digicam and got some super surreal photos throughout the light
i bought a kids toy camera a while back and I absolutely love the blooms and smears it can accidentally create
cw // flashing lights, eyestrain started playing music in the background while coding visuals, also experimenting with mouse input changing the visuals so I can bop my mouse to the tunes [music: glorpy basslines for getting wobbly - Denz1000]
some closeups from the Katharina Grosse exhibit today. Absolutely in love with the colours and layering
went to the Meštrović Gallery today and was floored by this guy's productivity. Also really loved seeing all the different thumbnails for all the ideas for compositions he had for this particular sculpture. He didn't just give up at the first idea when it wasn't what matched in his head.
