I finally dipped under 200 lbs for the first time in 10 years, and it is nice to be able to wear shirts that I thought I would have to get rid of a year ago.
At my NYU graduation and everybody in the art school booed the business school lol
I ordered this Sonic Youth shirt in a large instead of an XL to see if I could fit in it or hold onto until I lost a little more weight. Well turns out I’m a large again.
Then this is what the application portal looks like so who knows what is happening?
Big announcement! While I am looking for work and teaching, I've taken some of my free time to put together a collection of tracks from my thesis work at NYU and am releasing them on vinyl instead of being sucked into the application tracking void.
I’m scraping a living together in academia at the moment (teaching part time at CCS IRL and at MCAD remotely), but still applying for full time gigs. Consider this another call out to my friends/connections that I am still looking for work and let me know if you have anything I might be good for.
Considering getting a Peanuts tattoo and right now it is a tie between the kite scene from A Boy Named Charlie Brown as an armband or this panel of a young Lucy eating a record.
Every time I watch The Great Mupper Caper, which is probably like every 10 years, I forget that Fozzy and Kermit are supposed to be identical twins and that this is their dad.
