"Nothing to say, I've got nothing to say. Nothing but the one thing." Tulane, New Jersey Devils, and Southampton fan. Will post about comics, video games, and 90's music as well. Also the home of the definitive list of greatest songs of all time on here.
The cats have announced they will be on leave for the rest of the summer, having done their job to the utmost effectiveness. In related news, I was gifted a mouse by them at 5:15 this morning. Truly, a well thought out gift.
The good news for Tim Trench fans is he does appear in 52! The bad news is we don't even see how he was liquified, so I don't think he spends a panel alive in the run.
Sometimes I forget I don't have the Angry Wave profile picture. This would have been one of those times.
Let's be real, if there is a comic book hero I should relate to, it is Booster Gold. Just makes everything worse when trying to help lol
Felt like I was in a remake of Shaun of the Dead this morning in the grocery store
Hanging with a couple of people, watching sports and talking horse racing. Someone asked who is the most accomplished maiden (non-winner, for those who aren't up with this), and we decided to ask Google for an answer. AI is going great. Just completely wrong.
It is a sad day, my friends dog Onyx crossed the rainbow bridge. When they adopted him 13 years ago on NYE, some loser friend of theirs was the first person to meet him. He grew to associate me with late nights and pets all over. He was a good boy, and the world is less weird today. I hate it.
ESPN using AI to at the very least to research their articles, or to write them. I can't think of another reason they would use the St. Louis Eagles instead of the original Ottawa Senators in their article for which NHL teams have won the most cups. They were in St. Louis for one season.
Up 15 bucks on the day, including food and beer, and I wasn't rained on too much. All in all, an excellent day.
What Cotton Bowl? Oh, nothing special, just this one.
Another 6-76, maybe I needed someone else besides Uwe Blab. There are some fun names on the bottom. I was a big Von Wafer guy when he was in college. Also, I think this team beats my original team.
I think you all are going about this the wrong way.

All right, the greatest NES game as voted on by me: Dragon Warrior. The original Dragon Quest. The 1 on 1 battle between you and every monster on the map. Secrets! Poison swamps! Wizards! Dragons! Other fantastic creatures I had never heard of at the time! Flaming swords! This game had it all.
The 2nd greatest NES game: StarTropics. This game was so much fun. The jumping wasn't impossible like some other NES games (cough, Castlevania, cough), but there was a lot to this game that was a decent challenge. Also, you could control a submarine, which was fun. It needs a modern sequel.
The 3rd greatest NES game (and the yes, the numbering has been correct the whole time!): The Guardian Legend. It's an action adventure game! It's a vertical scrolling shooter! It's both! I was very good at this game, almost never died. But it was confusing as hell in the adventure part.
The 4th greatest NES game: Mike Tyson's Punch Out. We got the original on clearance, so I was getting my ass kicked by Tyson when I made it that far. Which I struggled to do, because Soda Popinski and Mr Sandman were really difficult for me. But I did beat the game a few times.
The 5th greatest game on the NES: The Legend of Zelda. I think this was the gold cartridge game, right? Perhaps I shouldn't do this off the top of my head. Anyway, I loved this game so much. So, so much. And it got so confusing, I just replayed the first part a ton until learning about the maze.
The 6th greatest NES game: TMNT 2: The Arcade Game. My favorite beat em up on any console, I don't remember that many differences between the console and arcade version. One was the console would hit some slowdowns in spots. It was all good though.
The 7th greatest NES game, and one that got remastered recently I believe: Shadowgate. I was so, so bad at this game for the longest time. But I loved it. Getting just a bit further, finding new ways to die, getting roasted by the dragon. Great times. If you missed something early, you were screwed.
The 8th greatest NES game: Based Loaded. You could get the other team's best player thrown out of the game by hitting him his second time up. There were a couple of teams that seemed immune to this, but perhaps we never figured out the right guy. Also, the umps were named Yuk, Dum, Boo, and Bum.
The 9th greatest NES game: Abadox, The Deadly Inner War. I was never good at side scrolling shooters, but for some reason I had this game nailed. I did need the cheat to beat this game, because this was difficult. Also, I was fascinated by going inside the giant alien to fight it.
The 10th greatest NES game: Tecmo Bowl. Yes, you only had four plays, and the defense calling your play blew everything up. But that is part of what made the game fun. Bo Jackson was ridiculous, we all know that. But there were ridiculous guys on defense too, including 4 or 5 who could block kicks.
The 11th greatest NES game: Super Mario Bros 3: Mario Believes He Can Fly. So much about this game is fun, and the leaf power up was so cool. Mario can fly! And then a suit let you throw the hammers. Which I had a lot of fun with.
The 12th greatest NES: Maniac Mansion. I only played Maniac Mansion on the PC briefly until I got to college, so finding it on the NES was amazing. Yes, there were changes. I didn't really care about them, the game was still awesome. And the NES had an extra ending!
