Mid-30s, friendly crank whose been online far to long. Bigots get blocked. Profiles with AI Art will also be blocked. Try being less of a loser sometime.
I am teaching myself to draw using Mark Kistler's You Can Draw in 30 Days, and "How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way". Here is where Im at after a couple weeks of practice (I need to be gentler on the paper), and 7 lessons from "You Can Draw...".
The reason I love 70s Marvel is how personal and bold it is. No mainstream genre work would have the current president off himself as a thematic point. Artist & writer said it was Nixon. Fuck retcons and editorial bullshit thats meant to protect IP and supress individual voices for toy deals.

ACTION HOME VIDEO by me for the 2010 RPGGEEK 24 Hour RPG contest. I was drinking after a game night, found out about the contest, worked on this until I fell asleep and finished it when I was hungover. Some people actually played it! Weird.
This is how Ive felt looking for rpg podcasts/youtubes (OSR/NSR is DnD regardless of how its presented).
If you see this, I implore you to post a picture from whatever device you’re using with no explanation.

Your last saved pic of a celebrity or notable person is your therapist. You know...as far as pro-wrestlers go I could do FAR WORSE than Minoru Suzuki for a therapist.
King's Field 4 is so damn depressing and bleak. It makes other FROM games feel downright cheerful in comparison. Nearly everyone is *depressed* and resigned to a slow death. Great game! One of the best.
*whew* I had time over the holidays to make an area map for a Sword World 1E game using HexKit. It was fun getting back into the program again and just thinking of *a space* to explore.
King's Field: The Ancient City NPC appreciation post! Unmatched vibes. Screenshots taken by me.
+ The art and vibe from the earlier books is top tier. Amano has some pieces! Its inspiring but not so specific as to dictate style. + Its a naturalistic ruleset as opposed to a prescriptive one. Example: Anyone can swing a staff to attack multiple opponents, you dont need a power/feat/move/etc
I finished my first read through of Sword World 1st Edition. + Classes are skills + Combat has a good foundation + Magic is wiggly and dangerous +/- No social skills - No encounter or reaction table BUT that seems to be an edition error because the adventures assume one. You can find the rules.
Yup! I use a white board that I lay down on the table. Ive got plenty of glass beads, poker chips and dice to use. Works great! This is a pic of the setup in action (from a couple years ago).
