I see poor old County Road in Liverpool is being targeted by the far right again. In case anyone is in doubt it isn't the local community behind this and it isn't an 'anti-immigration' protest. It's meant to intimidate anyone who dares stand up against fascism.
I was lucky enough to attend 2 brilliant gigs this week. Wednesday was the great Jon Boden and the Remnant Kings at the 4th Wall in Oxford and yesterday the totally wonderful Unthanks at the little theatre in Chipping Norton. (Both with community singing opportunities 🥰).
My granddaughter's requested viewing after school today. She has bigger balls than I do - this terrified me when I was a child. And she watches it in German with English subtitles she can't read as she's only 4. 🤣
Post your favourite film from the year you turned 18 (Runner up: Return of the Pink Panther, which was also an absolute pleasure 🤣)
My husband too. I mean, I know he's no oil painting but at least he looks happy and healthy, like you!
There are good reasons why hard evidence hasn't been placed before us, but I did find the part about the Union reps was true.
For what it's worth I find the militaristic The King's Army a bloody site more terrifying and threatening than a random collection of local people praying together in an informal way, whichever God it is they're praying to.
Post a pic you took, no context, to bring some zen to the feed.
In recognition of today; quote post with something #Green you've photographed
Gong Hei Fat Choy 🐴 Chinese family and friends and all who celebrate. Here is the beautiful and impressive entrance to Liverpool's Chinatown.
Looking at these numbers makes Trump's behaviour towards Denmark even more revolting.
Very good. I just came across a photo of my son from 12 years ago. Apparently this effort had small children running away crying.
