I did my 1st piece this past weekend. It really needs to be blocked. It's my 2nd attempt.
Proof of gauge swatch (#5 for this project, but who's counting). #LoomKnit #LoomKnitting #wip #WIPWednesday #Swatch
I have discovered something truly horrifying (for my wallet). Jewelry findings from woodturners. Perfect to glue on a bit of tatting instead of a cabochon. You could layer resin or clear glue to seal, too. www.woodturningz.com/Clasp_Earrin...
New project, a carry bag for my shuttle ship. Remnant from Joanne's (RIP). #sewing #wip #FirstWeMustCut
Round 1 of a vintage tatted doily (I'd have to look up the pattern to tell you which 1), in size 100 cotton cordonnet. Yes, a soda bottle cap will cover the center. #tatting #wip #doily #size100Thread
My soap bag (literally a bag to hold soap in the shower) in progress on the knitting loom. I already had the linen yarn/thread & according to the book of patterns, this is a linen stitch. But the pegs are so far apart & the thread so skinny, it looks lacy. But #loomKnit #wip #KnittingLoom #linen
If you like pretty shuttles, you can buy plain ones & use stickers, pretty tissue, etc & modge podge to decorate them. The pink one on the left I decorated.
It does for me. It's the same knot over & over, so once it becomes muscle memory, it's meditative. Tatting helps me concentrate on the speaker in a meeting. BTW, I have successfully crocheted a chain, nothing more complicated. Tatting is closer to macrame than crochet
Making a dice bag for my half ice elf druid. #weaving #MiniFrameLoom #DiceBag
The 1st garment I ever made from a pattern, a nightgown for my mom. We bought the fabric from a textile mills 'by the pound' seconds outlet. Years later, I saw sheets with that exact same print. #sewing #clothes #sewnClothes #MadeByMe
