The SF Democratic County Central Committee welcomes Patrick Boileau to its board. The members of the SFDCCC voted to ratify the appointment by Chair Nancy Tung on July 22, 2026. He will take the AD17 seat previously held by John Avalos.
On One City Day, over 1,000 San Franciscans turned out across the City to volunteer for various causes, including street cleanups, beautifying and repairing neighborhoods, and assisting those in need. One City Day goes to show how much San Francisco cares.
For the 250th Independence Day, over 100 joined our celebration at Golden Gate Park. Thanks to everyone who attended, and our co-sponsors for creating a fun event! Special thanks to SF Rec and Park for the support as well.

For SF Small Business Week, SFDems member Lily Ho chose On Waverly, a gift shop located in Chinatown. On Waverly is owned by two Asian-American sisters who wanted to highlight the work of local Asian-Americans. On Waverly also hosts community events to bring everyone together!
For SF Small Business Week, Marjan Philhour chose Polly Ann Ice Cream, a Sunset neighborhood staple that now has a location in FiDi as part of the City’s Vacant to Vibrant program. Known for their eccentric flavors, Polly Ann has provided fantastic ice cream for over 70 years.
For SF Small Business Week, SFDems member Joe Sangirardi chose Cliff’s Variety in the Castro. A pillar of the community, this multi-generational variety store has history with the Castro Theatre, Halloween in the Castro, and more. If they don’t have it, you don’t need it.
