I amazed a USA friend of mine when we were in Marseille for an IT conference. He'd flown in via Paris and to Marseille, which is fine.. flight connections etc. But we visited Paris for the day, by train, the idea didnt even occur to him, but the reality amazed him . 3 hours.
Here in Ireland you can delay your trip, have a drink of your choosing and pick the lower emissions train and apparently save 2 minutes! (My local route is operated by newer and older DMU trains)
My new local library is amazing. The single best thing we get for our taxes!
It's a very USA thing, people seek to celebrate being work as the bee all and end of effort. Its not. Work smart, not hard.
If spaces are not provided it massively affects access! People park on footpaths, corners etc. Given AGS refuse to adequately enforce the law, who cates? At my local Garda station they routinely park a van blocking the footpath!
I love I accidently turned off Wi-Fi and never notice due to any slowness! Only an alert alerted me!
