I’m from Wisconsin. I play and fix instruments. I read books as well. Go Brewers/Phillies ⚾️⚾️⚾️ 38 he/him ♏️
Post a perfect album from the 90's that isn't nirvana, soundgarden, pearl jam, or alice in chains.
Sometimes we get vintage gear in that still has the original manuals, like this Yamaha YTA-95 amplifier. I think they’re trying to put the Dead to shame with that wall of sound 😜 I wonder what the band’s name is?
I could walk over to the museum and see it right now if I wanted. One of the few truly great things about this town. wisconsinart.org/collections/...
@floorbaba.bsky.social @daff.space @hex-a-decimal.bsky.social I defer to your respective expertises on this. The shop I work at had someone drop this thing off for appraisal/consignment. Should I jump on this if the price is right?
Ok who’s buying me the Cranium Toilet Brush (it’s only ~$1,200 come on just this once)
Artwork and flavor text were always the most interesting parts of the cards for me. These are some of my favorites that I haven’t seen already. RIP Ron Spears
Name a TV show you’re positive no one remembers but you I’m sure people do, I’ve just never met anyone IRL who does.
That’ll buff right out. 2000 Epiphone Les Paul Standard 5-string bass. Quickly discontinued due frequent tailpiece breaking and the bridge warping; a fundamentally flawed design combined with low-quality parts (allegedly). Nobody makes a replacement and the usual Hipshot solution is ~$300.
Is this what The Apples in Stereo meant by Fun Trick Noisemaker? Anyway, time to get bleepy and/or bloopy.
I made (assembled) a thing. I have no idea why/how the battery also functions as an aerial 🤷🏻♂️
I don’t want to disturb it so this is the best picture I can take of the frog on the outside of my window 🐸
This asshole was giving me the stink eye the whole time I was taking out the trash.
Custom-made imitation Les Paul Fretless! I have no idea who made this but there are a smattering of listings online in the $200-$400 range. My favorite part is the back of the headstock - accurate enough to Gibson styling but with a Made in China sticker slapped over the MADE IN USA engraving.
Silvertone 367.12459 I think I can say with some degree of confidence that it was made sometime between 1959-1968, but I can’t narrow it down more than that. 367 is the model, I assume 12459 is the serial. It’s in remarkably good condition given its age; it’ll be even better with flats.
