Me holding a keychain I made. A bit tricky with my left foot as part of my left leg suffered some muscle and nerve damage. Got clipped by a landscaping trailer while on my bike when I was 19 and had part of the bike frame smash into part of my left leg.
Eh not really what I would consider old. I turn 40 on August 5th. An early happy hatch day, here is a cookie cake I made today
Made a homemade German chocolate cookie cake with homemade peanut butter frosting for my boyfriend’s stepmother. It was a belated bake because his work schedule makes it we visit on weekends.
Me right now and I turn the big 4 0 next month. Starting getting bit more active with trips to the dog park weather permitting for our furbaby Bella last month.
Dinner tonight-rice and peas with chicken fried pork strips. The seasoning in the coating for the pork strips is a mix of Montreal chicken and taco seasoning mix.
Our girl Bella happy that daddy is back home, he had to work today. Earlier in the day she thought she heard him pull up and did her happy bark but unfortunately he was not actually home yet.
We have a spot a short walk for various events. I try to go now and again to visit the booth our local shelter has to show how our sweet girl Bella is doing. Thankfully our girl doesn’t mind fireworks and storms.
Me and our girl Bella taking a short break in between wandering around the dog park. We tend to wander about on and off till more dogs show up, then I try to get her to interact some of the dogs that come in. It is completely fenced in but I still try to keep an eye on her.
Had a baking itch today so made some oatmeal dried cranberry cookies. Some of them will be given to my boyfriend’s dad and stepmom.
Did a cold meal for dinner last night. Prepared it the day before to let the flavors blend overnight. A tuna pasta salad.
This was dinner tonight, diced pork and veggies in a cream sauce with elbow macaroni noodles with a little bit of pepper jack cheese

My boyfriend and I made some sugar cookies with heath bars because we didn’t have any Hersey kisses. The first picture is the second batch waiting it’s turn.
Our girl loves going to the dog park. She was giving me hell earlier, like come on dad I am ready now and your taking too long. This is at a little watering hole they have with benches for the dog parents.
