Things that interest me: most sports - I'm big into fantasy football, college basketball, Cubs baseball, and Michigan football/bball, lefty politics, music - all variations of rock and Americana, movies & TV, anything that distracts from the hellscape
My final #SFB16 draft result: The pickings got real slim in the last few rounds.
I always like to be somewhere in the middle so I don't feel too forced into reaching on a guy. Plus this year it had the added bonus of not being blindsided by the 'no 3rd-round reversal' change. My only regret is waiting a little too long at QB.
We have 3 of them here in Chicago, but of course here, they're bars for adults and don't really help with the teen takeover situation.
I got Darnold/Stroud in the 8th & 9th. Can still stack with the WR2/3 and TEs there
I think this previous article of hers is illuminating of her motivations. My guess is she took it as a personal affront when Richardson wrote that 'America is not in any sense founded on the Christian religion', and article is just grinding an ax against Richardson and scholars like her.
It just reminds me what we lost when the Big Ten stopped using their pinwheel logo for the Big Ten Tournament.
The Dolphins have to be lying to us, or Pinion put on a bunch of weight since last season. For reference, DK Metcalf is 6'4", 229 lbs. And the Dolphins are saying Pinion is 6'5", 265 lbs.
There's no way this guy is 265. He and Mike Evans are roughly the same height and build, and Evans is 230. I'm 6'3", 275...and I do not look remotely the same size as Bradley Pinion.
Probably not a great sign that the same 'reset' conversationz are still happening with Tucker 10 months later. He's been legitimately bad since the ASB last year
Saw this earlier today showing Pete's defensive value vs other OFs. He would be lapping the field if not for the pair of little league homers he gave up. Even with them, he's far and away the best defensive outfielder in baseball.
Porter beat up and strangled his girlfriend so badly that he fractured a vertabra in her neck. He pleaded the case down to a misdemeanor, and the league suspended him for just 4 games, and said that he had already served it because he spent a year playing in Greece.
Alex Bregman and Seiya Suzuki both have homered today with runners in scoring position. Please let this be a sign that the Cubs offense can come out of their funk. This is from an article on ESPN yesterday talking about how futile that pair has been in RBI situations...literally worst in MLB!
Getting to 82-0 is really hard. I had a lineup with peak MJ (90s Bulls) and peak LeBron (2010's Cavs), and it only won 57 games. Meanwhile this lineup won 62:
If 60s Wilt was a cheat code, I feel like this team would have more than 67 wins.
This team might only win 67 games, but I dare you to come up with a roster that would be more fun...
Found this data in a Medium post written back in Feb. Shocked how successful kicks to the middle of the net are, but so few people try it, I wonder if more players took your advice and just kicked down the middle if keeper tactics would change and the success rate would drop.
Boomer should already be well aware of this too. Ryan Clark called him out for this same double-standard in February when Boomer was shitting on the Olympic athletes who criticized Trump. He specifically referenced Boomer's silence over the Bosa MAGA hat incident.
His public schedule literally has him at his Bedminster NJ golf club tomorrow.
And now I just want them to let Hearts have the title. I mean honestly, how does a league even survive for over 120 years when two teams dominate it to this degree?
