Arthur is home!!! I trapped him this morning at my neighbor's house, very unexpected tbh. There'll be two pages this week because my will to live has returned lol

He's zooted out of his mind, but he's fixed, vaccinated, medicated for fleas/worms/etc., and on some good ass pain meds. Everyone meet Edward, like the vampire.

Is my cat home yet? No. Is this my cat? Also no. Is this the reason I was up at 5:30am? Yes. I'm taking him in to get fixed and vaccinated. My neighbor who's been feeding him thinks she can probably take him, though she has cats already, but he seems to like her.

Haven't caught Arthur! I did catch this little void who's been eating everything I've been trying to bait Arthur with, though. My friend's mom is going to give him/her a new home when she gets home later this week. Also, I know where Arthur is! I found neighbors who have been seeing him around.

Overjoyed that my cat stopped by, mad that I woke up 20 minutes too late to catch him. Get into the trap, you colossal asshole.

I'm going to go harder with the food to lure in the neighborhood cats. I have some leftover bacon, and I can tell that will go over well, because Larry was nuts for it and wouldn't leave me alone. She got a new bed for my birthday from my friend lol

Did some Chicago wandering today with a friend, mostly to knock a few more things off my bucket list. We hit up the Rookery and the cultural center, then wandered up to the surgical science museum (which was not as cool as I hoped but still charming).

Going back through old chapters to get my references right, and I've used "werewolf" as a sound effect multiple times now and it's one of my favorite running jokes. As long as it makes me giggle, that's all that matters.

I finally was able to harvest some raspberries off the vine I planted two freaking years ago. Out of the six I've planted in three years, this is the only one that's lived, and it is slowly invading everything around it as well. I'm into it, give me some aggressive as hell berries, please.
