Today is my dad’s 75th bday. I still have the card that I‘d give him every year… The next day, he’d give it back. (That last pic was taken by my 3 yo nephew & it’s the last one taken of him)
Today would be my parents’ 43rd anniversary… So, I’m spending the day with my mom. My dad wanted to retire in Austin, so this is where he took his first and last breath. My mom won’t leave bc she for the dbl decker plot… SXSW traffic is ruining my day (it’s always around his bday)
My problem is I think my face stays oval shaped… But in reality, when I smile, it becomes diamond shaped… I never knew my cheeks took up my whole face! These aren’t even full smiles!

My mom is afraid of dogs & I had an 85lb rottie/german shepherd mix! She kept trying to steal my dog, every chance she got…when I was very sick and living away from family “You know Satchmo can come stay with us...” 🗣️MOM, you cannot have my dog!
My husband wanted a keyboard when he got his green card, so i ordered him one For 30 yrs, this man has said that he’s tone deaf (I gave him a music quiz & he scored v well) Within a day, he’s reading sheet music AND playing with both hands!
