Today, I am proud to join a Zoom conversation after the first screening of our documentary "Gaza : Journalists Under Fire," in Jaffa, Israel. The panel will be moderated by women journalists and human rights activists Mariam Farah and Hadeel Abu Saleh. Be there if you can, and please spread the word
Again going shortly live on France 24 Arabic to comment on the murder of five more journalists in Gaza by the Israeli Army today.
I finally have a home office!! I used to work out of my bedroom since the pandemic. News producers complained about my room background to my face and behind my back.
Again on AlJazeera to talk about the murders of their crew in Gaza city. For Anas, whom I knew and talked to when his father was killed and he recieved threats by the Israeli army, we will keep going. He kept going no matter what they did to his colleagues.
Truth. And I have said it to many of them directly and in person, inside State Department, and on every medium they follow. Impunity knows no boundaries and no borderes. The boomerange was always distended to come back.

In fact, my first award for defending free speech came in 2004 when I was recognized for the best article prize by Al-Kalima Center. In that piece, I criticized the police for failing to protect victims from the Christian community in Egypt.
On Thursday, December 5th, I will participate again in a symbolic hunger strike for 24 hours in solidarity with Dr. Laila Soueif after she exceeded 2 months of her own strike. Friends in Washington D.C., please show your support. Pick a day and follow suit. It's time to #FreeAlaa once and for all.
