We had another baby at the farm, we have called her Molly, she is tiny but fierce! We have let the mommies out of the barn and they are thrilled! Soon the field, they cannot wait!
We keep egg layers at the farm and it has been a long winter, spring is here and we had a very beautiful weekend and lets just say the chickens were thrilled. Here they are having a mass dirt bath! I call it the Chicken Spa!

It is calving season! Spring means new babies, meet Lucy, the newest addition at the farm! We are expecting one more!
Happy Earth Day! I am hopeful that leaders will see the value of this planet that sustains us all and realize that there is no living creature that requires a human to exist, we, however, require all the earth generously gives us. Lets start to protect it.
This is vile, this is criminal! Will world leaders, Congress and the Senate allow this to happen, for this very mentally unwell man to destroy a huge chunk of this world, leading to the deaths of many and alot of children. We are asking our leaders to stop this mad man.
Oh my I can feel spring in my bones, the cows are in their stalls and we are on calf watch now, the chickens are running around, digging holes and just enjoying no snow and a little sun, all of this excites a farmer, just thought I would share some positive thoughts, we all need them these days!

Well we had a little wind last nite! One of the trees that the wind took out! It was a wild night, the wind got up to 150 KM!
We have had some new cows the last couple of months, Brutis has been very busy and we are all hoping now that he has done his job! This is Missi, a very lovely cow, she would sit in your lap if she could!

If you look closely you can see the smoke and we can smell it for the first time since this fire began, we have a cattle trailer to loan if you need to move any animals due to evacuation. We also have an RV that can be used if you need somewhere to lay your head because you have been evacuated!

The babies are growing, they now eat a bit of what is in the bucket instead of playing with it! LOL!!
We had a bit of a long night last night but we have this little cutie and the little one and momma are doing well!
Birthing update! We had a little bull yesterday! He is healthy, mama is doing well and all is happy at the farm. We have one more pregnant mama! We are calling this one Max!
