I watched The Godfather for the first time last wknd & promptly lost my mind over all the references to it in Succession. 🫠🫠 It made me want to start a rewatch from 1x01. (It also made me ponder a Succession-with-classic-film-bent podcast by one @jsmithcameron.bsky.social but that's asking a lot.)

whenever I watch it - literally every time - I am in AWE. your expressions, the tone you hit, the RAGE at him, but also Gerri being just infuriated w herself for being so affected by this little twerp?? its a master class in showing all the complex layers of a relationship in one delicious conflict
