Starlight dex update. This probably wont be super readable but oh well. Each of the squares marked in blue have either a concept, sketch, or a final illustration done but not a dex entry image put together yet. Some concepts might not make it to the end though, I think I have too many birds….

Shiny color scheme, pretty drastic change from middle stage to final stage here. It happens sometimes and when I messed with the blue coloration I just fell in love with it so I kept it.

WIP final evolution for a fire cicada starter pokemon I took some inspiration from Kamen Rider X for this guy

Set a cheap shoulder roast and potatos in the slow cooker when I got back from today's disappointing plasma deferral, set to 8 hours and fell asleep. Woke up, just ate, jesus christ that was fucking good. 5$ roast and like 3 or 4 diced potatoes, cheap, easy, fucking good.

Found out a card I traded away a long while back had a huge price increase. A shame, but that trade got me my copy of .hack quarantine so its fine. I think at the time it was still a 90ish?? Card though so like, goddamn.

Still working out names, but I decided on my starter pokemon. The grass type is a tanuki!

Starlight Dex: Candelurk, the Lurking Visage Pokemon I’d be willing to bet there’s an in universe version of that sickos in the window meme with Candelurk. I went with a Manta-ray as the inspiration because…honestly I thought it’d be fun. #fakemon

And shiny colorations! I actually originally intended this line to be Grass/Dark but then I finished up the heart flower line so I figured…Ok, ghost has a lot of magic/sorcery ties anyway and it could be a fun type combo here.

Starlight Dex: Bloomlet, Florcerer, Cronibaba A trio, perhaps a coven, of Witchy little plants. Based on the Pongapong flower which can grow to pretty massive heights.

Starlight Dex: Daibun, the Spring-Bun Pokemon! These little mochi rabbits have a team-up gimmick similar to Cramorant where another Rabbit pokemon line actually use their large mallets to beat on them. Don’t worry, they love it.
