My wife captured some wonderful pictures of a very sleepy Shrimp, relaxing in his window shelf bed

This man just did something I’ve never heard him do before: growl. What was he growling at outside, you may ask? A delivery getting dropped off…three houses down the street 😅

We put all the cat toys in this cozy cave when we clean and the cats usually avoid it (unless they want to grab a toy). Apparently Shrimp thought that his toys were going to escape because he slept on top of a pile of them 😅

Shrimp: “A pillow fell on the floor? That will make a fantastic bed, thanks!”

Sometimes Shrimp takes over bodyguard duties when there’s something truly terrifying in the front yard (like today, where there’s a very small, very chubby bird in the bird bath)

Shrimpy did great at his vet appointment today! His eyes look like they’re still doing great and he got a clean bill of health! He was very brave and even spent some time exploring the exam room, especially the computer holder he hid out in 😻

My kid captured some additional pictures of Grits from yesterday. First up is is amazing smile (he’s always smiling, he’s a very happy cat) and him yelling at us (which he’s also always doing 😂)

I finally found the blanket that Haley sent Shrimp and Grits home with, I thought I had lost it. Gave it a wash and laid it out where Grits loves to sleep. He immediately laid down and relaxed on it 😭

Shrimp had another vet visit today and he was very brave and hid behind my back when he heard a dog being very loud 😅 Shrimp is okay, he had a gummy eye that we’re keeping an eye on (sorry) to make sure it doesn’t worsen. Gotta stay on top of this fella’s eyes!

And today is the day where we wish everyone’s favorite muscle man a happy birthday: Grits! A very happy birthday to the gentlest, chattiest himbo (complimentary) that still can’t figure out how doors work. Here he is watching out for birds while Shrimp takes a quick nap ❤️

Happy to report Shrimp’s face is still very pointy

Right before I got in the shower (sorry for the shower noise!), Shrimp brought up his new favorite toy. I was finally able to capture whatever the heck this new move is called 😂

I had a feeling they were sleeping in here. They weren’t ready to get up, though!
